In my last blog post, I gave an introduction of my mom and dad’s house, the story of how we came to buy it, and shared some photos of the exterior. Today, I’m taking you on a photo tour of the interior, all styled by my mom, Phoebe.
For as long as I can remember, my mom has had a natural eye for interior design. She’s collected antiques her whole adult life, and has a knack for putting together a room that looks perfectly curated, collected, yet never cluttered. She’s had no formal design training, but has always had an innate sense of style. She’s truly gifted! Her early American style has been such a big influence on me, and I’ve gleaned so much knowledge about decorating from her over the years. You can bet I will be studying these photos when it’s my turn to style and decorate this house. I have big shoes to fill, that’s for sure!
